Computing Utility service that automatically scales customers’ Virtual Private
Data Center in response to CPU loading. Groups of appliances (instances)
can be defined to handle computing load in parallel, with ENKI automation using
user-defined thresholds and delays to add or subtract running appliances to the
group automatically as needed to meet application performance SLAs and resource
utilization efficiency goals. ENKI offers auto-scaling for its
usage-billed Computing Utility services at two price-performance points, with
either best-available or guaranteed resources.
