<description>I have always been a Futurist, so my vision of cloud computing is a bit radical...Ever since code development became distributed, there has been the potential to have part of your business logic exist remote from the actual client....somewhere out on the network. With the growth of the internet, that network has grown...considerably. That means that a user could be running software on their local device that could actually be a culmination of code running from multiple sources across the world. Ultimately, the user will not care where the code exists, just that they are getting the results they want. The ultimate power of this is incredible. Just think; a developer could write and publish one piece of business logic and houndreds of thousands of people could be using and reusing it...that is 'power to the people.'

From a business perspective, this becomes very powerful. This could allow me to run my business from anywhere...on any device...from any vendor, or multiple vendors...full flexability. No more strongholds from this vendor or that vendor...just the freedom to move more widgets with less hastle.... - Skyler Sypherd</description>

<description>First of all, our props to Enki. As a hosting provider, you are excellent at addressing our needs quickly and explaining the complexities of this technology fully.

For our business (a web-based software and services firm for the political community), cloud computing holds the promise of 100% uptime and scalability. Already, we've found the need to make quick turns with our system, and cloud computing (via Enki) has delivered on that. We don't know what tomorrow will hold for us (and more importantly) our clients. So having the ability to quickly add resources is a huge value to us.

One a more philosophical note, cloud computing reflects to us a more evolved view of the universe. One where all immagined possibilities are met. One where, though true interdependence, we achieve new, beneficial realities that were not previously available.
